ORDINANCE NO 6 11931,
BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF FQUR
PER CENT REGISTERED WARRANTS IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $4000,00 ON
ACCOUNT OF EMERGENCIES ARISING Ih SEVERAL DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY
WHEREAS, since the adoption of the annual
appropriation ordinance for the fiscal year ending December 31,
1931, an emergency and unforeseen contingency has arisen, whereby
it has become and is necessary to pay Three Hundred and Fifty
($350.00 ) Dollars on account of the repair and renewal of the roof
and gutter above the street department shops, Fifteen Hundred
(01500,00) Dollars. for repair of the City Library, Six Hundred and
Fifty ($650.00) Dollars for the erection of a comfort station in
and repairs to
Lincoln Park, Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars for painting cabins
at the Municipal Camp Grounds and One Thousand ($1000.00) Dollars
for repair and alteration in connection with the part of the City
Hall occupied by the Police Department and Municipal Court, and the
public necessity requires an additional appropriation of public
funds therefor.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1. That there be and hereby is appro-
priated out of the general revenues of the City of Fort Collins
for the year 1933 or subsequent years as may hereafter be directed
by the City Council, unless taken up prior thereto, the sum of
Three Hundred and Fifty (8350.00 ) Dollars on account of the repair
and renewal of the roof and gutter above the street department shops,
Fifteen Hundred ($1500.00) Dollars for repair of the City Library,
Six Hundred and Fifty ($650.00) Dollars for the erection of a
comfort station in Lincoln Park, Five Hundred (0500,00 ) Dollars
and repairs to
for paintinabins at the Municipal Camp Grounds, and One Thousand

($1000.00) Dollars for repair and alteration in connection
with the part of the City Hall occupied by the Police Department
and Municipal Court, which said sums when this Ordinance takes
effect, shall be credited on the books of the City Clerk and
City Treasurer respectively to Works Department Shop Roof
Emergency Fund, Municipal Camp Ground Cabin Emergency Fund,
Police and Municipal Court repair Emergency Fund, Lincoln Park
Comfort Station Emergency Fund, City Library Repair Emergency
Fund, and registered four per cent (4%) warrants of the City
shall be issued to cover said amounts, the denomination of
said warrants to be as directed by the Commissioner of Finance.
Section 2 In the opinion of the City Council
an emergency exists for the preservation of the public health,
peace and safety, and this Ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage and publication, under and by virtue of the authority
contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter.
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the
unanimous vote of all members of the City Council at a regular
meeting of the City Council, held the 30th day of October, A D
1931.

of Fort Collins, do hereby certify and declare that the fore-
going Ordinance, consisting of two (2) sections, was duly pro-
posed and read at length at a regular meeting of the City Council
held on the 30th day of October, A D 1931, and was duly adopted
and ordered published in the Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily
newspaper and the official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins,
by the unanimous vote of all members of the City Council, as an
Emergency Ordinance, in accordance with the provisions of Sections
6 and 7 of Article IQ of the City Charter, and thereafter and on
to-wit the loth day of November, A D 19319 said Ordinance
No 6 was duly published in the Fort Collins Express-Courier,
a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my
hand and affixed the seal of said City this 10th day of November,
