BEING AN MTERGENCY ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING T'KE ISSUANCE OF
REGISTERED WRANTS AT THE RATE OF NOT TO EXCEED 6% INTEREST
PER ANNUM ACID Ii\T Aq AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED THE SUM OF $1500 00
FOR TRUCK
WHEREAS , an emergency and unforeseen contingency
has arisen wnereby it has become necessary to expena not to
exceed the sum of $1500 00 , for the purchase of a truck +o be
used in connection with the oiling projects now in progress in
the City and the public necessity requires an additional appro-
priation of public funds therefor
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED B1 THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That there be ana is hereby appro-
priated out of the general revenues of the Cit of Fort Collins
for the year 1936 and subsequent years unless taken up prior
thereto or said amount is paid from Feaeral funds allocatea to
the City for said purpose , an amount not exceeding $1500 00 to
be used to pay for a truck to be used in connection with the
oiling projects now in progress in the City, which said sum shall
be creditea on the books of the City Clerk and City Treasurer
to Special Truck Fund and registerea warrants bearing interest
at the rate of 6% per annum as may be fixed by the City Treas-
urer , shall be issued by the City to cover said amount
Section 2 In the opinion of the CitS Council
an emergency exists for the preservation of the public health ,
peace and safety and this Ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage unae- and by virtue of the authority contained in
Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter

unanimous vote of all members of the City Council at a regular
meeting of the City Council , held this 27th day of March A D
1936

Sections , was dull proposed and read at length at a regular
meeting oY the City Council , held on the 27th day of March,
A D 1936 , and ryas duly adopted and oraered published in the
Fort Collins Express-Courier a daily newspaper and the official
newspaper of the City of Fort Collins by the unanimous vote of
all members of the City Council as an Emergency Ordinance , in
accordance with the pzovisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article
IV of the City Charter and thereafter and on to-wit the
2nd day of April , A D 1936 said Ordinance No 3
was duly pablisnea in the Fort Collins Express-Courier a daily
newspaper published in the City of Fort Collins , Colorado
