BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE, AAM%TDING ORDINANCE NO 10 , 1929
AND IKVOWN 4S THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS,
COLORADO
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That Ordinance No 10 , 1929 and known
as the Zoning Ordinance of the CitS of Fort Collins Colorado
adopted May 31 , 1929 , be amended by adding to Section XV thereof
the following
'Tne actual cost to the City of the proceeding
to make any amendment , supplement or change of the boundaries
or regulations herein or subsequently established , shall be
paid for by the person or persons requesting such change ,
supplement or amendment Upon the filing of any petition
or otherwise makin6 a request for any amendment , supplement
or change as herein or by law provided , the person or persons
filing such petition or making such request shall deposit
with the City Clerk such amount of money as in the opinion
of the City Clerk will defray the cost of making such amend-
ment , supplement or change , and upon the termination or
completion of such proceeding the City Clerk shall refund
to such person or persons , any excess amount remaining in
his hands after the payment of aLl costs thereof , and if it
should be found that the deposit made is insufficient , then
upon demand by the City Clerk , the person or persons who
filed said petition or requested said amendment , supplement
or change , shall reimburse the City for any deficiency then
due , and until such deposit is made as herein provided, no

action shall be taken upon any petition or request by the
City Council "
Section 2 In the opinion of the City Council
an emergency exists for the preservation of the public health,
peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage and publication under and by virtue of the authority
contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter
Introduced read at length and adopted by the
unanimous vote of all members of the City Council at a regular
meeting held this 5th day of June A D 1936

City of Fort Collins do hereby certify and declare that the
foregoing Ordinance , consisting of two (2) sections , was
duly proposed and reaa at length at a regular meeting of the
City Council , held on the 5th day of June , A D 1936 , and was
duly adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins Express-
Courier, a daily newspaper and the official newspaper of the
City of Fort Collins , by the unanimous vote of all members of
the City Council as an emergency ordinance in accordance with
the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City
Charter, and thereafter and on to-wit the 9th day of June ,
A D 1936 , said Ordinance No 11 was duly published in The
Fort Collins Express-Courier , a daily newspaper publishea in
the City of Fort Collins , Colorado
IN WITNNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set
my hand and affixed the seal of said City, this 9th day of
June , A D 1936
