ORDINANCE NO 9 1956
CREATING THE DEPRECIATION AM WSOLESENCE FUND FOR
THE DIVISION OF ELECTRIC LIGHT AND POWER IN THE DE-
PARTMENT OF MUNICIPAL PUBLIC UTILITIES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 There is hereby created a depreciation and obsolesence fund
for the Division of Electric Light and Power in the Department of Municipal Public
Utilities
Section 2 There is hereby transferred to said fund out of the funds
of the Division of Electric Light and Power the sum of $25,000 as of April 30, 1956,
and there shall be deposited in said fund monthly a sum computed in accordance with
the depreciation schedules under the Uniform Classification of Accounts, being the
standard accounting system used by the said Division
Section 3 The moneys in said fund shall be invested in Government
bonds or bonds of the City of Fort Collins by the Director of Finance or in such
other funds as may be autnorized by the City Council by resolution
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered published
this 17th day of May, A D 1956, and to be presented for final passage on June
28, 1956
