HomeMy WebLinkAbout024 - 08/01/1963 - AMENDING SECTION 21-51 OF THE CITY CODE RELATING TO RATES FOR MUNICIPAL LIGHT AND POWER SERVICE Z), Cc7 ORDINANCE NO 1963 BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 21-51 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS COLORADO 1958 AS AMENDED RELATING TO RATES FOR MUNICIPAL LIGHT AND POWER SERVICE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that Section 21-51 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins Colorado 1958 as amended be and the same hereby is amended by adding thereto the following schedules SCHEDULE NO 9 Combined Light and Power Service Applicability Available in corporate limits of the City of Fort Collins This is a single meter rate for use of one customer and not for resale to others This rate is available only at 120/208 volts 3 phase 4 wire or 277/480 volts 3 phase 4 wire Rate First 50 KWH used per month per KWH --- ----- $ 0 05 Next 100 KWH used per month per KWH --------- 04 Next 850 KWH used per month per KWH --- ----- 03 Next 9000 KWH used per month per KWH -------- 02k Balance KWH used per month per KWH --------- 02 Minimum Minimum monthly charge per meter per month --- 5 00 SCHEDULE NO 10 Private Floodlighting 1 Available in corporate limits of the City of Fort Collins and suburban fringe areas provided lines are constructed near location to be served 2 Rate $3 50 per month inside corporate limits of City of Fort Collins $4 00 per month outside corporate limits of City of Fort Collins 3 These rates apply to yard light or street light installed and maintained at expense of Light & Power Department Floodlight shall be 175 Watt Mercury Vapor Lamp and fixture photo cell controlled for dusk to dawn operation 4 Contract Period All contracts under this schedule shall be for a minimum period of 12 months and thereafter until terminated and that Schedule 'M in said section be and the same hereby is amended to read as follows SCHEDULE 'M' MUNICIPAL STREET LIGHTING Applicability Applicable only to Municipal Street Lighting Service Availability Available within the city limits of Fort Collins Colorado Rate - per year Incandescent lamps - Burning Dusk to Dawn 100 Watt - Multiple Type $ 37 50 150 Watt - Multiple Type 41 50 200 Watt - Multiple Type 44 00 300 Watt - Multiple Type 52 00 1000 Lumen Series Type 30 50 1500 Lumen Series Type 31 00 2500 Lumen Series Type 37 00 Mercury Vapor Lamps - Burning from Dusk to Dawn 175 Watt Mercury Vapor Type 38 00 250 Watt Mercury Vapor Type 44 50 400 Watt Mercury Vapor Type 55 50 700 Watt Mercury Vapor Type 84 50 1000 Watt Mercury Vapor Type 105 00 175 Watt Twin Mercury Vapor 64 00 250 Watt Twin Mercury Vapor 77 50 400 Watt Twin Mercury Vapor 100 00 700 Watt Twin Mercury Vapor 157 50 1000 Watt Twin Mercury Vapor 199 50 Traffic Signal Lights School Flasher 17 00 4 - Way Traffic 181 50 Pedestrian Activated Traffic Signal 297 50 Payment Bills for Municipal Street Lighting Service will be rendered by the Light and Power Department and paid by the City in equal monthly installments at the end of each month Billings for the calendar year will be based upon an inventory of actual installations as of August 1 of the preceeding year Lighting Districts Artificial Lighting districts if not covered by Sections 15-1 to 15-40 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins Colorado, are to be financed by the subdivider on a cash basis, subject to material costs at the time of the installation Where requested by the City Council the Light and Power Department is to furnish and install all lamps wire poles and fixtures and other necessary equipment for service only on resolution or ordinance ' Introduced considered favorably on first reading and ordered published this llth day of July A.
