ORDINANCE NO 9 , 1959
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 53, 19593o CALLING AND PROVIDING
FOR A GENERAL CITY ELECTION TO BE HELD IN THE CITY OF
FORT COLLINS, COLORADO, ON TUESDAY, THE 7th DAY OF
APRIL, A D 1959s AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
Section 1 That Section 2 of Ordinance No, 5, 1959, be and the
same is hereby amended by deleting the following words and figures, to-wit
Precinct C-6 - C S U, Menlo Gymnasium Bldg , Precinct C•7 - Moore School
substituting therefore the words and gigures, to-wit Precinct C-6
Moore School, Precinct C-7 - C S.U. Men's Gymnasium Bldg,"
Section 2 Passage of the within ordinance is necessary because of
a transposition that occuced in connection with passage of Ordinance No,, 5,
1959, and it is necessary to correct such error immediately in order to
properly provide for the next City election
Aca*cdingly, it is the opinion of the City Council that passage of
the within ordinance is necessary for the actual preservation of public peace,
health, safety, or property, and it is therefore declared that an emergency
exists, and that this ordinance shall take Pffect upon its passage under and
by virtue of authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article II of the City
Charter,
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unanimous vote of all
the members at an adjourned meeting held this 5th day of March, A D 1959
