HomeMy WebLinkAbout030 - 11/13/1958 - REZONING LOTS 1 2 10 11 AND 12 OF EMIGH SUBDIVISION EXCEPT A PORTION OF LOT 1 ORDINANCE NO 30 1958 AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 10 1929 AS AMENDED COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE CHANGING THE LOTS 1 2 10 11 AND 12 OF EMIGH SUBDIVISION EXCEPT A PORTION OF LOT 1 DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS BEGINNING AT A POINT ON THE EAST LINE OF LOT 1 SAID EMIGH SUBDIVISION WHICH POINT IS NORTH 190 FEET FROM THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SAID LOT 1 AND RUNS THENCE WESTERLY 106 FEET THENCE SOUTHERLY 190 FEET THENCE WESTERLY 44 FEET THENCE NORTHERLY 541 FEET THENCE WESTERLY 103 FEET THENCE NORTHERLY 50 FEET THENCE WESTERLY 80 FEET THENCE NORTHERLY 100 FEET TO THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAID LOT 1 THENCE EASTERLY 333 FEET MORE OR LESS TO THE NORTH EAST CORNER OF SAID LOT 1 THENCE SOUTHERLY ALONG THE EAST LINE OF SAID LOT 1 501 FEET MORE OR LESS TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING IN EMIG14 S SUBDIVISION TO C RESIDENCE DISTRICT BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS That Ordinance No 10 of the Series of 1929 as amended being an emergency ordinance to regulate and restrict the locations of buildings and structures and the use of buildings and structures and land the height and size of buildings and other structures the area and dimensions of open spaces in building lots the density of population and for said purpose to divide the City into districts and the zoning map adopted in connection therewith be and the same is hereby amended by adding to Section 11 entitled Zoning District Regulations the following to-wit Section 1 The zoning map heretofore adopted and declared to be a part of this ordinance shall be changed and amended and is hereby changed and amended so that the Lots 1 2 10 11 and 12 of Emigh Subdivision except a portion of Lot 1 described as follows Beginning at a point on the East line of Lot 1 said Emigh Subdivision which point is North 190 feet from the Southeast corner of said Lot 1 and runs thence Westerly 106 feet thence Southerly 190 feet thence Westerly 44 feet thence Northerly 541 feet thence Westerly 103 feet thence Northerly 50 feet thence Aesterly 80 feet thence Northerly 100 feet to the Northwest corner of said Lot 1 thence Easterly 333 feet more or less to the Northeast corner of said Lot 1 thence Southerly along the East line of said Lot 1 501 feet more or less to the point of beginning in Emigh's Subdivision all within the City of Fort Collins Colorado shall be taken from A Residence District and put into and made a part of C Residence District Section 2 The City Engineer shall forthwith amend the original zoning district map in compliance with the amendments and changes herein established Section 3 All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed Introduced considered favorably on first reading and ordered published this 9th day of October A D 1958 and to be presented for final passage on the 13th day of November A D 1958 Mayor ATTEST Passed and adopted on final reading this 13th day of November A D 1958 Mayor ATTEST City Cle k
