AMENDING ORDINANCE N0, 10, 1929, AS AMENDED, COMMONLY
KNOWN,AS THE .ZONING ORDINANCE, MAKING PROVISION FOR _
ZONING LANDS HERETOFORE,ANNEXED TO THE CITY_OF FORT
COLLINS WHICH HAVE NOT BER4ZONED,AND MAKING PROVISION
FOR.ZONING JANDS HEREAFTER ANNEXED TO THE CITY C& FORT
COLLINS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that
Ordinance No. 10 of the Series of 1929, as amended, being an emergency
ordinance to regulate and restrict the locations of buildings and structures
and the use of buildings and structures and land; the height and size of
buildings and other structures; the area and dimensions of open space in
building lots; the density of population; and for said purpose to divide
the City into districts, and the zoning map adopted in connection there-
with, be and the same is hereby amended by adding to Section 11, entitled
"Zoning District Regulations$" the following, to-wit:
Section 1. All lands heretofore annexed to the City of Fort
Collins, unless otherwise zoned, shall be and the same are hereby put
into and made a part of "A" Residence District,
Section 2, All lands annexed to the City of Fort Collins on or
after the effective date of this ordinance shall immediately upon such
annexation be automatically classified as "A" Residence District; except
that the City Council may annex any land as any other class or classes of
zoning districts, provided all resolutions, notices and ordinances enacted
to effect such annexations shall contain and designate therein the zoning
district or districts which shall apply to the territory to be annexed.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered
published this 28thday of April A. D. 1960, and to be presented
for final pas sage .on the26th day of AMA. , A. D. 1960.
