HomeMy WebLinkAbout017 - 05/14/1959 - REZONING A PORTION OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 10, TOWNSHIP 7 NORTH ORDINANCE NO 17 1959 AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 10 1929 AS- AMENDED COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE CHANGING A PORTION OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 10 TOWNSHIP 7 NORTH, RANGE 69 WEST OF THE 6TH P M FROM A RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO D COMMERCIAL DISTRICT BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS That Ordinance No 10 of the Series of 1929, as amended, being an emergency ordinance to regulate and restrict the locations of buildings and structures and the use of buildings and structures and land the height and size of buildings and other structures the area and dimensions of open spaces in building lots the density of population and for said purpose to divide the City into districts and the zoning map adopted in connection therewith be, and the same is hereby amended by addition to Section II, entitled Zoning District Regulations the following to-wit Section 1 The zoning map heretofore adopted and declared to be a part of this ordinance shall be changed and amended and is hereby changed and amended so that a portion of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 10 Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the 6th P M in the City of Fort Collins Colorado and more particularly described as follows, to-wit A portion of the SE4 of the SW4 of Section 10 Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the 6th P M , contained within boundary lines, which considering the South line of the SW;- of said Section as bearing due East and with all bearings herein relative thereto begin at a point on the South line of the SW4 of said Section 10, 1903 00 feet East of the SW corner of said Section 10, and run thence East 500 feet along the South line of the SW4 of said Section 10, thence North 24 15' hest 244 47 feet, more or less, to a point 252 9 feet North of the South line of the SW4 of said Section 10 thence West 440 90 feet parallel to the ScAhh line of the SW4 of said Section 10 and thence Southeasterly in a straight line to the point of beginning be taken from A Residence District and put into D Commercial District Section 2 The City Engineer shall forthwith amend the original zoning district map in compliance with the amendments and changes herein established Section 3 All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed Introduced considered favorably on first reading and ordered published this 23rd day of April, A D 1959, and to be presented for final passage on the 14th day of May A D 1959 M r ATTEST City C ferk Passed and adopted on final reading this 14th day of May, A D 1959 Myr ATTEST City Cle
