HomeMy WebLinkAbout032 - 11/12/1959 - RELATING TO THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1960, AND ENDING DECE r ORDINANCE NO 32 , 1959 BEING "THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE" REIATING TO THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL, YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 12 1960, AND ENDING DECMM 31, 1960, AND FIKING THE MILL LEVY FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS Section 1 That there be and is hereby appropriated out of the revenues of the City of Fort Collins for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1960, and ending December 31, 1960, the sum of Two Million Two Hundred Forty-Nine Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-Three and 55/100ths Dollars ($2,249,743 55) to be raised by taxation and otherwise, which said sum is hereby divided and appropriated far the following purposes, to-wit DISBURSEMENTS BY APPROPRIATIONS Department of Finance $ 93,65o oo Department of Aviation 2,500 00 Fire Department 90,240 00 Department of Health 343000 00 Department of Parks and Recreation 71,700 00 Police Department 114,973 00 Department of Public Works 2742182 00 Municipal Court 7'600 oo O City Attorney Planning and Zoning 5,000 00 Public Library 26 5oo 00 $ 72 ,00 .00 Municipal Building-General Funds 5 000.00 $ 729,005 00 Department of Municipal Public Utilities 1 511 500 00 0 2,240,505 00 Sinking Fund and Special Assessments 9 238 55 Grand Total $ 7,249,743.55 Section 2 That for the purpose of providing necessary funds for meeting the appropriations set forth in Section 1 of this ordinance the following levies in mills upon each dollar of the assessed valuation of all taxable property within the corporate limits of the City of Fort Collins be and are hereby made Such levies representing the amount of taxes for City purposes necessary to provide for payment during the ensuing budget year of all properly authorized demands against the City, including principal and interest of general obligation bonds, to Wit Airport Improvement Bonds-Sinking Fund •20 Mills Local Improvement Districts-City Share *128 Mills General Expense 14*644 Mills being a total of 15 00 Mills, which levies shall be certified to the County Assessor and to the Board of County Commissioners of T,ar3mer County, Colorado, by the Director of Finance as provided by law.
