APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF THIRTY EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR 1959 FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR
STREET PURPOSES
WHEREAS it is necessary that the City of Fort Collins pay for the
ft expenses of transition sections along South College Avenue in connection with
the improvement of said South College Avenue by the State Highway Department
and
WHEREAS the unprecedented storms which occurred late in September
and early in October created expenses for the Department of Pub Lc Works for
street purposes which could not have been anticipated and
WHEREAS the budget for the year 1959 did not include items for
the foregoing expendtures and
WHEREAS the actual necessity to meet the expenses for said expenditures
has arisen from casualty accident or unforseen contingencies above mentioned
arising after the passage of the annual appropriation ordinance
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That there be and there is hereby appropriated for the
Department of Public Works for street purposes the sum of Thirty Eight Thousand
Dollars ($38 000 00) which said sum shall be and is hereby transferred for
said purpose out of the general fund surplus
Introduced considered favorably on first reading and ordered published
this 29th day of October A D 1959 and to be presented for first passage on the
12th day of November A D 1959
