APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF FOUR THOUSAND FI`7E HUNDRED DOLLARS
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1959 FOR THE PURCHASE OF A HEATER FOR
THE SWIMMING POOL AT THE CITY PARK
WHEREAS the general fund surplus has unappropriated funds in the
amount of Four Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($4 500 00) and
WHEREAS there is a need for a heater for the swimming pool at the
City Park which will cost said sum and
WHEREAS neither the budget for the year 1959 nor the budget for the
year 1960 included an item for this expenditure and
WHEREAS it is the opinion of the City Council that the heater should
be installed in the swimming pool at the City Park and that funds should be
appropriated for such p urp ose and
WHEREAS the actual necessity to meet the expense of said improvement
is caused by an unforseen contingency arising after the passage of the annual
appropriation ordinance
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That there be and there is hereby appropriated for the
expense of purchasing and installing a heater for the swimming pool at the City
Park the sum of Four Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($4 500 00) which said sum
shall be and is hereby transferred for said purpose out of the general funds
surplus
Introduced considered favorably on first reading and ordered published
this 29th day of October A D 1959 and to be presented for final passage on the
12th day of November A D 1959
