BEI11G AN EMERGENCY ORDIIjANCE RELATING TO TIM VACATION OF POPTIOITS OF
PPOSPECT STREET AS DESIGNATED AND SHOWN I7 THE ORIGINAL PLAT OF LAKE
PARS ADDITION ADTD ?OPTIONS OF SOUTH COLLEGE AIMME IN THE CITY OF
FORT COLLIIS, COLOFADO
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLII�S
Section 1 That all that portion of Prospect Street as
shown in the original Plat of Lake Park Addition to the City of Fort
Collins, Colorado described as follows, to-wit
Commencing at a point 155 5 feet North and 150 feet West of
the Section Corner common to Sections 13, 14, 23 and 24,
Todnsh'P 7 North, Range Sixty-n_ne West of the 6th P M in
said Larimer County , Colorado, thence West 375.2 feet, tnence
North 100 feet, tnence East 375 3 feet, thence South 100 feet
to the point of beginning
be and the same is hereby vacated and the title thereto shall vest in
the abutting property owner
Section 2 That all that portion of South College Avenue
originally PlFted in said Plat of Lake Park Addition to the City of Fort
Collins, Colorado described as follows, to-,.it
Commencing at a point 55 feet Vest and 30 feet North of the
Section Cornei common to Sections 13, 14, 23 and 24, Township
7 North, Range 69 West of the 6th P M in said Larimer County,
Colorado, thence North 533 40 feet, more or less, to the South
line of Labe Street, thence West 95 feet, thence South 533 40
feet, thence East 95 feet to the point of beginning
be and the same is hereby vacated and the title thereto shall vest in the
abutting property owner.
Section 3 In the opinion of the City Council an emergency
exists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety and
this Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage under and by virtue
of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City
Charter
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unanimous vote
of all members of the City Council, at a regular meeting of the City Council,
held this 13th day of October, A D 1949

do hereby certify and declare that the aforesaid Ordinance, consisting
of three Sections, was duly proposed and read at length at a regular
meeting of the City Council, held on the 1'3�t day of Octcrfl , A D
1949, and was duly adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins
Coloradoan, a daily newspaper and offical newspaper of the City of Fort
Collins, by the unanimous vote of all members of the City Council,
as an Emergency Ordinance, in accordance with the provisions of
Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter, and thereafter and
on, the 1 -r- day of Or Or" , A D. 1949, said Ordinance No _ 9
was duly published in the Fort Collins Coloradoan, a daily newspaper
published in the C.ty of Fort Collins, Colorado
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed
