AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE BETA ING TO THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS ME THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 19529 AND ENDING DECE03H 31. 1952. AND FIXING THE MILL LEVIES FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR BE III ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS: Section 1 That there be and is hereby appropriated out of the revenues of the City of Fort Collins for the fiscal year beginning January 1. 1952, and ending December 31. 1952, the sum of Your Hundred Forty Thousand Four Hundred Fifteen and Six Hundredths Dollars ($44W,415.06) 9 to be raised by taxation and otherwise, which said sum is hereby divided and appropriated for the following purposes, to-wit: DISBURSEMENTS BY APPROPRIATIONS Building Inspection & $6,000.00 Engineering General Government 0 79008.00 Fire Department . 539800.00 Forestry Department 750 00 General Government 189500,00 Grandview Cemetery a 22,250 00 Insurance 10,000.00 Library 0 16,000.00 Lights 199500 00 Parking Meters 0 4,000.00 Parks - City 9 12,000 00 Parke - Other than City Park 7,000.00 Pioneer Museum 1,700.00 Police Department 59,500 00 Public Grounds & Buildings 0 99000 00 Public Health 81000 00 Recreation 2,000.00 Streets & Alleys 0 69POOO.00 32 ,008 00 Preliminary Local Improvement 10,000 00 Local Improvement Districts - City Share 1,490.81 Refunding Water Bonds - Series of 1950 40 80o.00 General Obligation Sewage Disposal Bonds 12,758 75 Sewer & Water Revenue Bonds 1 9,881.25 Refunding Conduit Bonds - Sinking Fund 79341 25 Refunding Bonds of 1949 - Sinking Fuad 3 032 50 Electric Light & Power Revenue Bonds Series of 1948 28.802.50 GRAND TOTAL $440,415.06 Section 2 That for the purpose of providing necessary funds for meeting the appropriations set forth in Section 1 of this Ordinance, the following levies be and are hereby made upon each dollar of the assessed valuation of all taxable property within the corporate limits of the City of Fort Collins, the same being the amount necessary, together with estimated miscellaneous receipts, to provide for the payment of the foregoing appropriations and to meet the payment during the fiscal year ending December 31, 1952, of all properly authorised demands upon the City Treasurer, to-wit! Refunding Conduit Bonds Sinking Fund .705 mills Refunding Bonds of 1949 Sinking Fund .320 mills Local Improvement Districts - City Share 143 Mille General Expense 13.832 mills 15.000 mills being a total of 15.00 mine, which levies shall be certified to the County Assessor and to the Board of County Commissioners of Larimer County. Colorado, by the Commissioner of Safety and ft-Officto Mayor and the City Clerk, as provided by law. Section 3 In the opinion of the City Council an emergency exists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety, and this Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage under and by virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article Io of the City Charter. D. 1951, and was duly adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins Ooloradoan, a daily newspaper and the official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins, by the unanimous vote of all members of the Council, as an emergency ordinance, in accordance with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter; and thereafter and on, to"wits the 27th day of November, 1951, was duly published in the Fort Collins Coloradoans a daily newspaper published in tte City of Fort Collinss Colorado.
