A RATING. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLIh6: Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 11, 1948, be repealed and that Section 7 of Ordinance No. 5, 1946, be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following, to-wit: "GRADE B RAW JAILK - Grade B raw milk is raw milk which violates the bacterial standard and/or the abortion testing requirement for grade A raw milk, but which conforms with all other requirements for grade A raw milk, and has an average bacterial plate count not exceeding 500,900 per ` cubic centimeter, or an average direct migoscopic count not exceeding 500,000 per cubic centimeter if clumps are counted or 2,000,000 per cubic centimeter if individual organisms are counted, or an average reduction time of not less than 3� hours, as determined under sections 1 (S) and 6. GRADE C RAW MILK - Grade C raw milk is raw milk which violates any of the requirements for grade B raw milk, pro— vided that the standard plate count shall not exceed 500,000 colonies per cubic centimeter.?? Section 2. That Section 8 of Ordinance No. 5, 1946, as amended by Section 2 of Ordinance No. 11, 1948, be further amended by adding thereto the following, to wit: t'Provided further that no milk producer shall remain on a ?Grade C? rating or tGrade B+ rating for a period of more than One (1) year, upon failure to qualify for a 'Grade Al rating within such period of One (1) year the food inspector shall notify the City Council thereof and the City Council shall thereupon revoke the permit of such milk producer Section 6 In the opinion of the City Council an emergency exists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage, under and oy virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unanimous vote of all members of the City Council, at a regular meeting held this 17th day of February, x D 1949 Cdmmissioner of Saf y and rx- Officio 1ayor ATTEST.
