BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE CREATI-Iff THE OFFIC3 OF ASSISTANT
SEXTON OF GRAND VIEW CEMETERY OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, A11D
RELATING TO THE COITPENSATION TO BE PAID THE ASSISTANT SEXTON
OF GRAND VIEW CMETERY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1. That there be and there is hereby created
the office of Assistant Sexton of Grand View Cemetery for the
City of Fort Collins, which office is to be under the Works
Department of said City.
Section 2 . The City Council shall appoint some
suitable person as Assistant Sexton of Grand View Cemetery.
Section 3. That the salary and compensation to be
paid to the Assistant Sexton of Grand View Cemetery shall be such
sum as may be fixed by resolution of the City Council, the same
to be not less than $100.00 and not more than $125.00 per month.
Section 4. In the opinion of the City Council an
emergency exists for the preservation of the public health,
peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage and publication, under and by virtue of the authority
contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter.
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unanimous
vote of all members of the City Council at a regular meeting
held this 20th day of September. A. D. 1929.

ordinance, consisting of four (4 ) sections was duly proposed
and read at length at a reb).lar meeting of the City Council
held on the 20th day of September, A. D. 1929 , and was duly
adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins Express-
Couriar, a daily newspaper and the official newspaper of the
City of Fort Collins, by the unanimous vote of all memb-.rs
of the City Council, as an emergency ordinance, in accordance
with the provisions of Sections e and 7 of Article IV of the
City Charter; and thereafter and on to-wit: the 23rd day of
September, Al . D. 1929, said ordinance No . 23 was duly
published in the Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily
newspaper -ublished in the City of Fort Collins , Colorado .
IN WITNESS WHMEOF, I have hereunto set my hand and
