BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 10 1929 AS AMENDED
BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO REGULAmE AND RESTRICT THE LOCATION OF
BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES AND TO DIVIDE THE CITY INTO CERTAIN DISTRICTS
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND CHANGING THE EAST a OF BLOCK
128 MAIN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS COLORADO TO nCn RESIDENCE
DISTRICT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
That Ordinance No 10 of the Series of 1929 as amended being an
emergency ordinance to regulate and restrict the locations of buildings
and structures and the use of buildings and structures and land the height
and size of buildings ana other structures the area and dimensions of open
space in building lots the density of population and for said purpose to
divide the Citj into districts and the zoning map adopted in connection
therewith be and the same is hereby amended by adding to Section II en-
titled "Zoning District Regulations 11 the following to-wit
Section 1 The zoning district map heretofore adopted and declared
to be a part of this Ordinance shall be changed and amended and is hereby
cnanged and amended so that the East One-half (E2) of Block 128 Main Addition
to the City of Fort Collins Colorado shall be taken from uBn residence
district and put into and made a part of 110 residence district
Section 2 That the Citj Engineer shall forthwith amend the original
zoning district map in compliance with the amendments and changes herein
established
Section 3 All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with
this ordinance are hereby repealed
Section 4 In the opinion of the City Council an emergency exists
for the preservation of the public health peace and safety and this ordinance
shall take effect upon its passage and publication under and by virtue of the
authority contained in Sections 6 ana 7 of Article IV of the City Charter
Introduced read at length and adopted by the unanimous vote of
all the members of the City Council at a regular meeting held this
loth day of April A D 1953

four sections was duly proposed and read at length at a regular meeting
of the City Council held on the loth day of April A D 1953 and
was duly adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins Coloradoan a
daily newspaper and the official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins
by the unanimous vote of all members of the City Council as an emeigeicy
ordinance in accordance with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of
Article IV of the City Charter and thereafter arA on to—wit the 14th
day of April , A D 1953 said Ordinance No 4 was duly published
in the Fort Collins Coloradoan a daily newspaper published in the City
of Fort Collins Colorado
