FOR A TRUCK
WTPr. EAS, an emergency and unforeseen contingency
has arisen whereby it has become necessary to expend not to
exceed the sum of �1234 85 for the purchase of a truck to be
used in the Fire Department as a ladder truck and the public
necessity requires an additional appropriation of public funds
therefor
TIMEFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY TIE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That there be and is hereby appro-
priated out of the general revenues of the City of Fort Collins
for the year 1937 and subsequent years unless taken up prior
thereto, an amount not exceeding �?1234 85 to be used to pay
for a truck to be used in the Fire Department as a ladder
truck, wnich said sum shall be credited on the books of the
City Clerk and City Treasurei to F_Lre Department Emergency
Equipment Fund and registered warrants bearing interest at
the rate of not to exceed 4% per annum as may be fixed by the
City Treasurer shall be issued by the City to cover said amount
Section 2 In the opinion of the City Council
an emergency exists for the preservation of the public health,
peace ana safety and this Ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage under and by virtue of the authority contained in
Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter

Introduced, read at length and adopted by the
unanimous vote of all members of the City Council, at a
regular meeting of the City Council, held this 12th day of
February, A D 1937

City of Fort Collins, do hereby certify and declare that the
aforesaid Ordinance , consisting of two (2) Sections, was duly
proposed and read at length at a regular meeting of the City
Council, held on the 12th day of February, A D 1937 , and was
duly adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins Express-
Courier, a daily newspaper and the official newspaper of the
City of Foit Collins, by the unanimous vote of all members of
the City Council, as an Emergency Ordinance , in accordance with
the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City
Charter, and thereafter and on to-wit the 16th day of
February, A D 1937 , said Ordinance No 5 was duly published
in the Fort Collins Express-Courier , a daily newspaper published
in the City of Fort Collins , Colorado
IN VETDPSS INHIEREOF, I have hereunto set
my hand and affixed the seal of said City, this 16th day of
February, A D 1937
