BEIM AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE, AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF
REGISTERED WARRANTS AT THE RATE OF NOT TO EXCEED 4% INTEREST
PER ANNUM AND NOT TO EXCEED THE SUM OF $ 8,860 00 IN AMOUNT
FOR THE COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTION IN CONSOLIDATED IMFR OVEMENP
DISTRICTS NOS 40 AND 41
WHEREAS, an emergency and unforeseen contingency
has arisen whereby it bas become necessary to expend not to
exceed the sum of $a 860 OTor the purchase of materials
for the patching and seal coat in Consolidated Improvement
District No 40 and for the purchase of materials for con-
struction and seal coat in Consolidated Improvement District
No 41 ana the public necessity requires an additional appro-
priation of public funds therefor
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That there be and is hereby appro-
priated out of the general revenues of the City of Fort Collins
for the year 1937 and subsequent years unless taken up prior
thereto, An amount not exceeding $ 8,860 00 to be used for
the completion of improvements in Consolidated Improvement
Districts Nos 40 and 41, which said sum shall be credited
on the books of the City Clerk and City Treasurer to Emergency
Street Improvement Fund and registered warrants bearing interest
at the rate of not to exceed 4% per annum as may be fixed by
the City Treasurer shall be issued by the City to cover said
amount
Section 2 In the opinion of the City Council
an emergency exists for the preservation of the Public health,
peace and safety and this Ordinance shall take effect upon

its passage under and by virtue of the authority contained
in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the
unanimous vote of all members of the City Council, at a regular
adjourned meeting of the City Council, held this llth day of
June, A D 1937

of the City of Fort Collins do hereby certify and declare
that the aforesaid Ordinance, consisting of two (2) sections,
adjourned
was duly proposed and read at length at a regular/meeting of
the City Council, held on the llth day of June A D 1937 ,
and was duly adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins
Express-Courier, a daily newspaper and the official newspaper
of the City of Fort Collins, by the unanimous vote of all members
of the City Council as an Emergency Ordinance, in accordance
with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article I4 of the
City Charter, and thereafter and on to-wit the 15th day of
June A D 1937 said Ordinance No 10 was duly published
in the Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily newspaper pub-
lished in the City of Fort Collins Colorado
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set
my hand and affixed the seal of said City, this 15th day of
