BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING A SCHEDULE OF RATES
AUTHORIZED TO BE CHARGED AND COLLECTED BY THE PUBLIC SERVICE
COIAPANY OF COLORADO FOR NATURAL GAS SUPPLIED WITHIN THE LIFTS
OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AND AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE
NO 17, 1950
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THF' CITY OF FORT
COLLINS
Section 1 That the rates for all natural gas service as
set forth in Section 1 of Ordinance No 17, 1950, being an amend-
ment to Section 8 of Ordinance No 13, 1947, be amended by the
following adjustments
RESIDENTIAL SERVICE
GENERAL AND HOUSEHEATING
The rate for residential natural gas service rendered within
the City of Fort Collins shall be increased per hundred cubic feet
used per month $0 003
COMMERCIAL SERVICE
GENERAL AND SPACEHEATING
The rates for commercial natural gas service rendered within
the City of Fort Collins, including the Commodity Charge of the OP-
TIONAL C012ERCIAL SERVICE RATE, shall be increased per hundred cubic
feet used per month $0 003
INTERRUPTIBLE INDUSTRIAL SERVICE
OFF-PEAK SERVICE - COMPLETE AND ADEQUATE STANDBY REQUIRED
RATE E
The rate for interruptible industrial natural gas service
rendered within the City of Fort Collins shall be increased per
thousand cubic feet used per month $0 017
Section 2 Excepting as hereby specifically modified said
Section 1 of Ordinance No 17, 1950 shall continue in full force
and effect.
Section 3 In the opinion of the City Council an emergency
exists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety,
and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage under and by
virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV
of the Citr Charter.
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unanimous vote
of all members of the City Council, at a regular meeting held this

Ordinance, consists of three sections, was duly proposed and read at
length at a regular meeting of the City Council, bald on tie 5th
day of February , A D 1954, and was duly adopted and ordered
published in t1B Fort Collins Coloradoan, a daily newspaper and the
official newspaper of tle City of Fort Collins, by t1ze unanimous vote
of all members of the City Council as an emergency ordinance, in accord-
ance with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article 17 of the City
Curter, and thereafter and on to-wit the gth day of February
A D 1951+, said Ordinance No 1 was duly published in the Fort Collins
Coloradoan, a daily newspaper published an the City of Fort Collins,
Colorado
