AMENDING CHAPTER 23 CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, COLORADO, AS AMENDED, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE TRAFFIC
CODE PROVIDING FOR ,A TWENTY (20) MILES PER HOUR SPEED .LIMIT
IN PASSING HOSPITAL BUILDINGS _
BE IT"ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1. That Section 23-10 of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Fort Collins, Colorado, 1958, as amended, be changed by deleting therefrom
the words and figures as follows: " and provided further, that no vehicle shall

be driven at a greater rate of speed than 20 miles per hour when passing school
buildings or school grounds during school recess or when children are going to
or leaving school during opening and closing hours,"
Substituting therefore, the following words and figures, to-wit: " and
provided further, that no vehicle 'shall- be driven at a greater rate of speed than
20 miles per hour when passing hospital buildings or when passing school buildings
or school grounds during school recess or when children are going to or leaving
school during opening and closing hours,".
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered published
this 13th day of September, A. D. , 1962, and to be presented for final passage
on the 4th day of October, A. -D. , 1962.
