APPROPRIATING THE.SUM OF THIRTY THOUSAND ($301,000.00)
DOLLARS.FOR THE FISCAL YEAR.1962 FOR THE PURCHASE OF_
TM,WN OF SECTION.92 TOWNSHIP 6 NORTH,, RANGE 69 WEST
OF THE 6TH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City of Fort.Collins acquire a
nw location for the citydump, and
WHEREAS, a suitable site for such purpose is the Nk of Section 9,
Township 6 North, Range 69 West of, the 6th P.M., which can be acquired for a
purchase price of $30,000.00, and
u EREAS, the budget for the'year 1962 does not include an item
for this expenditure, and
WHEREAS, the actual necessity to meet the expense of such purchase
has arisen from an unforeseen contingency arising after the passage of the
annual appropriation ordinance, and
WHEREAS, Section 8 of Chapter V of the City Charter provides that
the City Council may provide by ordinance for the payment of any expense,
the actual necessity of which is caused by any unforeseen contingency arising
after the passage of the annual appropriation ordinance, and
WHEREAS, a capital improvements revolving fund was created by
Ordinance No. 44, 19620 in which funds are available to meet the expense of
the above mentioned purchase, and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of said Ordinance No. 44, 1962, ex-
penditures from such fund shall be authorized by ordinance of the Council of
the City of Fort .Collins for capital improvements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS:
Section 1. That there be and there is hereby appropriated for the
expense of the purchase of tht N' of Section 92 Township 6 North, Range 69
West of the 6th P.M., the sum of. $30,000.00 which said sum shall be and is
hereby transferred for said purpose out of the' Capital Improvements Revolving
Fund.
