BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 7 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY-OF"FORT COLLINS, .COLORADO, AS
AMENDED, (ORDINANCE.NO. -22 .1959) .AND BEING..AN ORDINANCE
FIXING .THE BOUNDARIES OF ELECTION PRECINCTS IN THE CITY
OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OFFORT COLLINS:
Section 1, That Ordinance No. 2, 1959, be and the same is hereby
amended in the following particulars, to-wit: That Section 2 thereof be and
the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 2. That there are hereby created twenty-three (23) election
precincts in the. City of Fort Collins to be known and designated as follows,
to-wit: Precinct A-1,- Precinct B-1, Precinct B-2, Precinct B-3, Precinct B-4,
Precinct C-1, Precinct 6-29; Precinct C-3, Precinct C-4; Precinct C-5, Precinct
C-6, Precinct C-7, Precinct C-8, Precinct C-9, Precinct D-1, Precinct D-2,
Precinct D-3, Precinct E-1,' Precinct E-2, Precinct E-3, Precinct E-4, Precinct
E-5, Precinct E-6."
That Section 3 thereof be amended in the following respects, to-wit:
That the provision regarding• Precinct' "B-l" Fort Collins, be amended to read
as follows:
"PRECINCTB=10 FORT'COLLINS - That portion of the-'City of Fort Collins
being North.of Mountain Avenue.s �West of.'College Avenue and East of Whitcomb
Street and its extension Northward, also West of the Northward extension of
Whitcomb Street and North of'Elm Street.`°
That the provision regarding Precinct :`_-'B-4T1 Fort Collins, be amended to read
as follows:
" PRECINCT B-4, FORT'COLLINS - That portion of the City of Fort
Collins being West of Shields Street.and North of Mountain Avenue and East of
Roosevelt Avenue and North of LaPorte Avenue from Roosevelt Avenue Rest.1°
That the provision regarding Precinct 6a-6" Fort Collins, be amended. to read
as follows:
"PRECINCT C-6, FORT COLLINS = That portion of the City of Fort
Collins being .South,of West Mulberry'_Street and West of City Park Avenue and
East and North of Crestmore Place, East of South Bryan Avenue and its extension
South, North of West Elizabeth Street and its extension West, and West of
Shields Street and South of 'the.extension of West Laurel Street."
That the provision regarding Precinct "E-3" Fort Collins, be amended to read
as follows:.
"PRECINCT E130 FORT COLLINS - That portion of" the City of Fort Collins
being South.of Elizabeth Street, West of Peterson Street," North of Prospect Street
and East of College Avenue; also West of College Avenue, North of Prospect Street,
East of the Colorado and Southern Railway Tracks and South of Pitkin Street."
That the provision regarding Precinct "E-4" Fort Collins, be amended to read
as follows:
"PRECINCT E-49 FORT COLLINS - That portion of the City of Fort Collins
being South.of East:Prospect Street, East, of South College Avenue, North of
Stuart,.Street, also, East of extension of Stover Street due South of Stuart
Street, North of city limits. from Dartmouth and Stover Street East to LeMay
Avenue and West of LeMay Avenue.
~ That the boundaries of the newly created election precincts, set out in Section 1
aha
above.- are hereby fixed and established as follows, to-wit:
PRECINCT "C-8" FORT`COLLINS - That portion of the City of Fort Collins
being South of LaPorte Avenue_ and.West of. Roosevelt Avenue extended to West_
Mulberry Street, North of West'Mulberry Street" to Crestmore Place, West and
South of Crestmore Place to'-South Bryan Avenue, ?,lest of South Bryan Avenue and
• its extension South to extension of West Elizabeth Street, North of the extension
of West Elizabeth Street and West Elizabeth Street from Skyline Drive to South
Taft Hill Road, East of South Taft Hill Road.
PRECINCT "C-9" FORT COLLINS - That portion of the City of Fort Collins
being South of West Elizabeth_ Street and its extension West, West of Shields
Street and North of West Prospect Street.
_ . PRECINCT "E-5"" FORT COLLINS - That portion of the City of Fort Collins
South of Stuart"Street, East of South College.Avenue, West of Stover Street and
_ its extension North to Stuart 'Stree't and also South of West Prospect Street, East
of Colorado and Southern Railway. Tracks, North of Drake Road and West of South
College Avenue.
"PRECINCT "E-6" FORT COLLINS - That portion of the City of Fort Collins
being East of the alley"which,-runs_41ong the East side of Circle Drive Subdivision
and its extension North, South of East Elisabeth Street and its extension East,
North of East Prospect -Street and Prospect Road.
Introduced, considered favorablyyon first reading and ordered published
this 15th day of November, A.:D., 1962,.and to be presented for final passage
on the 6th day of December,'A. -D., 1962,
