APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED TWENTY NINE THOUSAND
FOUR HUNDRED NINETY FIVE AND 13/100 DOLLARS FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 1961 FOR PROJECTS NOT INCLUDED IN THE BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS
FOR 1961
WHEREAS, Section 15, Article IV of the City Charter provides that
at the expiration of eight months of the budget year, if the actual revenue
realized exceeds the budget estimates, the Council may, by ordinance, appropriate
the excess to any purpose recommended by the City Manager for expenditure
during the budget year, and
WHEREAS, the actual revenues realized have exceeded or will exceed
the budget estimates in an amount at least equal to the sum of One Hundred
Twenty Nine Thousand Four Hundred Ninety Five and 13/100 Dollars ($129,495 13)
and
WHEREAS, heretofore, the City Council, upon recommendation of the
City Manager, has authorized certain projects not included in the budget
appropriations for the completion of which funds must be appropriated
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That there be and there is hereby appropriated the
sum of One Hundred Twenty Nine Thousand Four Hundred Ninety Five and 13/100
Dollars ($129,495 13), which said sum shall be and is hereby transferred for
the hereinafter stated purposes out of the general fund surplus, to-wit
Purpose Amount Appropriated
Additional street repairs and
additional costs for arterial
streets in the paving district not
subject to assessment $30,000 00
To pay for Fire Station No 2 in full 30,000 00
For St Vrain and Filter Plant Park
Purchases 29,000 00
For general income purposes to replace
shortgage in Highway Users Tax income 30,000 00
For Civil Defense warning system and
installation 79495 13
For repairs to airport landing strip 3,000 00
