APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $18,500.00
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1956 FOR THE
PURCHASE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins has an opportunity t®
purchase the lands used for the purpose of providing a city dump
for the residents of the City of Fort Collins, and
WHEREAS, such opportunity arose after the annual
Appropriation Ordinance for the fiscal year 1956 was adopted, and
WHERIKA3, it is the opinion of the City Council that it
will be for the best interests of the residents of the City of
Fort Collins that such purchase be made, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Council to provide for
the appropriation for the purchase price as provided by Section 8,
Article V of the City Charter by reason of the unforeseen
contingency arising after the passage of this annual appropriation
ordinance.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1. That there be and there is hereby appropriated
for the purchase of the following described real property, situate
in the County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to-wit
Commencing at a point on the Southerly line on the
right-of-way of the Colorado and Southern Railway
1172 15 feet, South of the NW corner of Section 12,
Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the 6th P M.
thence North 560 40t East 227 41 feet to the true
point of beginning, thence South 359 feet thence
West 111 feet, thence South 60 16t West 100 6 feet,
thence East 122 feet, thence South 69.85 feet, thence
South 830 37t East 73 9 feet thence South 820 311

the sum of Fourteen Thousand ($14,000 00) Dollars.
Section 2 That there be and there is hereby appropriated
for the purchase of property adjoining the property described in
Section 1. the further sum of Forty-five Hundred ($4500.00) Dollars.
Section 3. Said sums shall be and are hereby transferred
outof the general fund for said purposes.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and
ordered published this 1st day of March, A D 1956, and to be
