VACATING A PORTION OP SYCAMDRE STREET LYING SOUTH OF BLOCK
55. NORTH,OF BLOCK. 54 and WEST OF BAILBOAD RIGHT OF WAY
WHEREAS, the plat of Blocks 55 and 54 in the City of Fort Collins
recorded in the office of the County Clerk and Recorder of Larimer County
shows a portion of Sycamore Street abutting thereon 100 feet in width, and '
WHEREAS$. the owner of lots in Block 55 has petitioned the Council
of the City of Fort Collins to cause a portion thereof to be vacated, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the portion requested to be vacated has
never been opened to public travel and is not now open to the public and
no public funds have been expended on such portion and Sycamore Street as
it continues -West is 80 feet in width and Sycamore Street has never been
opened East of the railroad right of way. and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that it will be to
the best interests of the City to vacate the portion of Sycamore Street
as hereinafter described.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1. That the following portion of Sycamore Street
abutting on Blocks 55 and 54 in the City of Fort Collins, and more
particularly described as. situate in the County of Larimer, State of Colorado,
to-wit:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Block 55 in the
City of Fort Collins, thence South 10 feet, thence
Bast to the railroad right of way, thence Northwesterly
along said right of way to the South line of said
Block .55, thence.Wast to the point of beginning; AND$
beginning at the Northwest corner of Block 54 in the
City.of Fort Collins, thence North 10 feet, thence
East to the railroad right of way. thence Southeasterly
along said right of way to the North line of said Block
54, thence West to the point of beginning;
be and the same is hereby vocated, 'Abolished and abandoned.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered
published thisl14�6 day of :IIay, A. D. 19.61, and to be presented for final
passage on the 1st day of June, 'A: D. 1901.
