BEING AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF RECREATION
DIRECTOR
WHHEREAS$ the Council of the City of Fort Collins is of the opinion
that it is in the'best interests of the City that an office of Director of
Recreation be created in the City of Fort Collins to oversee and direct the
various recreational facilities and opportunities in the City of Fort Collins.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS:
Section 1. That the office of Recreation Director be, and it
hereby is, created.
Section 2. The Director of Recreation shall be appointed by the
City Manager subject to the approval of the City Council, and the Recreation
Director shall be under the immediate supermision and control of the City
Manager.
Section 3. That the duties of the Director of Recreation shall
be to oversee the recreational facilities of the City of Fort Collins. .
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered
published this 22nd day of June, A. D. 1961, to be presented for final
passage on the 13th day of July, A. D. 1961.
