AMENDING CHAPTER 23 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES_ OF THE CITY
OF FORT COLLINS, BEING THE ORDINANCES FOR THE REGULATION
OF TRAFFIC.UPON THE PUBLIC STREETS OF THE 'CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, COLORADO
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1. That Section 23-33 of the Code of ,Ordinances be
amended and changed by adding thereto the following paragraph (c), to-wit:
Section 23-33 (c). Diagonal Parking. Every vehicle shall park
at an angle of forty-five degrees (45°) on the following streets or parts
of streets, as follows:
Howes Street On both sides of said street from Oak
Street South to Magnolia Street, and
from Mulberry Street South to Laurel
Street,
Mason Street On both sides from Mountain Avenue South
to Magnolia Street; and on the West side
from Myrtle Street to' Laurel Street.
College Avenue On both .sides from Cherry Street to -
Olive Street,
Remington .Street On both sides from Mountain Avenue to
Plum Street and from Garfield to Edwards
Street And from Lake Street to Prospect
Street; on-the West side from Plum Street
to Garfield Street; and on the East side
from Pitkin 'Street to Buckeye Street,
Mathews Street On both sides from Mountain Avenue to
Olive Street, .from Mulberry Street to
Plum Street; and on the West side from
Plum Street to Locust-Street;- and on the
East side from Locust. Street to Elizabeth
Street,
Peterson Street On both sides from Mountain Avenue to Oak
Street, from Laurel Street to Plum Street;
on the East side from -Oak Street to Olive
Street, from Myrtle Street to Laurel Street;
and on the West side from Plum Street to
Locust Street and from Lake Street to
Prospect Street,
Whedbee Street On both sides from Edwards Street to Pitkin
Street,
Smith Street On the West side from Magnolia Street to
Mulberry "Street and from Plum Street to
Locust Street,
Stover Street On the East side from Myrtle Street to Laurel
Street.
Cowan Street. On the East side from Myrtle Street South to
the .first alley.
Sherwood Street On the West side from Oak Street to Olive
Street and from Magnolia Street to Mulberry
Street,
Meldrum Street . . On both sides from Mulberry Street to
Laurel Street; on the West side from
-Cherry Street to Maple Street and from
LaPorte Avenue to Mountain Avenue.
Whitcomb Street On both sides from Oak Street to Olive
Street.
Loomis Street On both sides from Myrtle Street to Laurel
-Street; on the West side from Mountain Avenue
North to the first alley and from Olive Street
to Magnolia Street.
Grant Avenue On both sides from Myrtle Street to Laurel
Street.
In the City Park On the Southerly side from Bryan Avenue
Easterly to .Roosevelt Street on the street
bordering on the North side of the lake.
Pine Street On both sides from. Jefferson Street to
Walnut:
Linden Street -_On both sides from Jefferson Street to
Mountain Avenue,
Chestnut Street On both sides-from Jefferson Street. to
Mountain Avenue;
Maple Street .. On both sides from Howes Street to College
Avenue.
LaPorte Avenue On both sides from Mason Street to College

Canyon Avenue On the Southeasterly side from Meldrum Street
to Sherwood Street.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered
published this 26th day of October, A. D. 1961, to-be presented for final
passage on the 16th day of November, A. D. 1961.
