BEING AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS CDLORADO

WHEREAS heretofore a written petition together with four prints of an annexe
i map was filed with the City Clerk of the City of Foft Collins requesting sthe annexation
certain territory more particularly described below to the City of Fort Collins Colorsd�y
land
WHEREAS the City Council has Pound and determined and does hereby find and del
mine that said petition is in substantial compliance with the provisions of Colorado Red
vised statutes 1963 137-21-6 as amended and E
WHEREAS not less than one-sixth of the perimeter of the area to be annexed is�
contiguous with the City of Fort Collins and a community of interest exists between the j
ritory to be annexed and the City of Fort Collins and the territory to be annexed is urbi
or will be urbanized in the near future and such territory is integrated or is capableofl
} being integrated with the Qty of Fort Collins and !
WHEREAS none of the provisions of Colorado Revised Statutes 1963 139-21-4

amended are violated by the annexation of this territory to the City of Fort Collins Cod
and
WHEREAS no election is required under the provision of Colorado Revised Staty
1963 139-21 6 (2) and no additional terms and conditions are to be imposed in connectiog
with this annexation and
WHEREAS the territory is elig-ble for annexation and the City Council desires
to annex the same to the City of Fort Collins 4
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS !
