HomeMy WebLinkAbout024 - 06/01/1967 - AMENDING SECTION 19-34 OF THE CITY CODE RELATING TO ZONING FOR MOBILE HOMES ORDINANCE NO .2 1967 BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 19-34 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS COLORADO , 1958 AS AMENDED, RELATING TO ZONING FOR MOBILE HOMES BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that Section 19-34 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins Colorado 1958 as amended be and the same hereby is amended to read as follows "Section 19-34 Mobile Home Districts (areas for mobile homes ) 1 M-L Low Density Mobile Home District a Uses permitted (1) In areas of this M-L Low Density Mobile Home District the following uses are permitted Mobile home parks containing independent mobile homes not exceed- ing six units net per acre with accessory buildings and uses for storage service and recreation provided that the plan for such mobile home parks is shown on a unit development plan processed approved and recorded as provided in Section 19-44 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins Colorado 1958 as amended b Minimum area of mobile home park U V (1) Each mobile home park estab- r+ lashed in this zone shall contain t a a minimum of eight acres U � N q e0 4i c Minimum width of mobile home park m o (1) Each mobile home park estab- :94 � lashed in this district shall con- tain a minimum width of two a cc hundred feet In addition there shall be a minimum width of sixty foot which shall front on a public 0 ,0 0 street to provide access to the {, mobile home park o o d Minimum yards ;9 .� d �-C{i i 41 (1) The minimum distance of any V aA a) building or mobile home from any H p '0 exterior lot line of the mobile home park shall be thirty feett I ( 2) The minimum distance allowed between mobile homes or mobile homes and buildings in a mobile home park shall be fourteen feet e Minimum offstreet or offdrive parking (1) For each mobile home and/or dwelling unit in this district there shall be two parking spaces for each one hundred fifty square feet of floor space in any recrea- tional building in a mobile home park there shall be one parking space 2 M-M Medium Density Mobile Home District a Uses permitted (1) In an area designated M-M Mobile Home District the following uses are permitted Any use permitted in an R-M Medium Density Residential District subject to all of the uses and density requirements of such district Mobile homes on individual lots (not in a mobile home park) subject to all density requirements speci- fied for a one family dwelling in an R-M Medium Density Residential District Mobile home parks containing independent mobile homes not exceeding twelve units net per acre with accessory buildings and uses for storage service and recreation b Minimum area of lot e (1) Each mobile home park estab- lished in this zone shall contain o s . a minimum of five acres J c Minimum width of lot � rq o U) p N (1) Each mobile home park estab- b w lished in this district shall con- tain a minimum width of two hundred feet In addition, there v shall be a minimum width of sixty VH foot which shall front on a public a) A 0 street to provide access to the mobile home park o H b d Minimum yards � 0 ra CJ U (1) The minimum distance of any HOD o building or mobile home from any exterior lot line of the mobile home park shall be thirty feet +* -2- ( 2) The minimum distance allowed between mobile homes or mobile homes and buildings in a mobile home park shall be fourteen feet e Minimum offstreet or offdrive parking (1) For each mobile home and/or dwelling unit in this district there shall be two parking spaces for each one hundred fifty square feet of floor space in any recrea- tional building in a mobile home park there shall be one parking space Introduced considered favorably on first reading and ordered published this 11th day of _ MaY A D , 1967 and to be presented for final passage on the 1st day of ,Tune A D 1967 Mayor ATTEST City C Ierk Passed and adopted on final reading this 1st day of June A D 1967 Mayor ATTEST 'City UU er -3-
