BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 84-2

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
THAT Section 84-2 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins be,
and the same hereby is, amended by adding thereto at the end thereof the
following
"The City Council may, by motion, designate specific
areas within public parks where serving and comsumption
of 3 2% fermented malt beverages may be permitted under
a permit to be issued by the Chief of Police The fore-
going prohibition shall not apply to any areas so desig-
nated by the City Council Any person desiring a permit
to use a designated area in a public park for the serving
or consumption of such malt beverages shall apply to the
Police Department at least 36 hours prior to the time
requested and provide such information as may be required
by the Police Department Permits shall be available
only to organized groups and not on an individual basis "
