BEING AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the property hereinafter described has for more than three (3) years been
entirely contained within the boundaries of the City of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins desires to annex said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1 . That all of the territory more particularly described as situate in the I
County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to-wit:
Commencing at the West Quarter Corner of Section 15, Township 7 Ndrth,
Range 69 West of the 6th P. M. , thence S. 89054123" E. along the South
line of NW4 of said Section 15 1329.77 feet; thence N. 00029' W. 662 .15
feet to the true point of beginning, said point being the Northeast corner
of the South Taft Hill First Annexation to "the-City of Fort Collins,
Colorado; thence N. 8905412311 W. along said Annexation 465.35 feet, more
or less, to the Southeast corner of the South Taft*Hill Third Annexation;
thence N. 00032 ' W. along said Annexation 233.35 feet, more or less, to
the Southeast corner of the South Taft Hill Fourth Annexation; thence N.
00°32' W. along said Annexation 150.88 feet, more or less, to the South
line of the Western An to the City of Fort Collins; thence East
along said Annexation 466.45 feet, more or- less; thence S. 00029' E. along
said Annexation 22.70 feet, more or less, to the Northwest corner of
College Addition; thence S. 00029' E. along said Annexation 362 .26 feet, _
more or less, to the point of beginning;
be and it hereby is annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of said City, to
be known as the Moore School Annexation.
Section 2. That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort Collins, the City of
Fort Collins does not assume any obligation respecting the construction of water mains,
sewer lines, gas mains, electric service lines, streets or any other services or utilities
in connection with territory hereby annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances of
the City of Fort Collins.
Section 3. Within ninety (90) days from the date this ordinance becomes effective, no
building permit shall be issued for any of the lands herein described unless said lands
have been zoned under the zoning ordinances of the City.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 7th day
of August A. D. 1969, and to be presented for final passage on- the28•th day of
August A. D. 1969.
