HomeMy WebLinkAbout028 - 11/17/1960 - REZONING A PORTION OF LAND IN THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 16, TOWNSHIP 7 NORTH, RANGE 69 WEST O ORDINANCE NO. 28 1960 AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 10, 19299 AS AMENDED, COMMONLY KNOWN.AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, CHANGING A PORTION OF LAND IN THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 16, TOWNSHIP 7 NORTH, RANGE 69 WEST OF THE 6TH P. M. .to "B" RESIDENCE DISTRICT BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS: That Ordinance No. 10 of the Series of 1929, as amended, being an• emergency ordinance to regulate and restrict the locations of buildings and structures and the use of buildings and structures and land; the height and size of buildings and other structures; the area and dimensions of open spaces in building lots; the density of population; and for said purpose to divide the City into districts, and the zoning map adopted in connection therewith, be and the sameis hereby amended by addition to Section II, entitled "Zoning District Regulations," the following, to-wit: Section 1. The zoning map heretofore adopted and declared to be a part of this ordinance shall be changed and amended and is hereby changed and amended so that the following described property, to-wit: A tract of land situate in the SEA; of Section 16, Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the 6th P.M., City of Fort Collins, County of Larimer, State of Colorado, being a part of Miller Brothers' Fourth Foothills Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, which considering the East line of said SE4 as bearing N. 00*32' W. and with all bearings.contained herein relative thereto, is contained within the boundary lines which begin at a point which bears N. 00032' W. 390.04 feet from the Southeast corner of the NEB of said SE& and run thence N. 89*41' W. 150.37 feet, thence S. 00019' W. 110.00 feet, thence N. 89041' W. 51.06 feet, thence S. 84011' W. 192.33 feet, thence along the arc of a 603.39 foot radius curve to the right a distance of 5.62 feet, the long chord of which bears S. 05°33' E. 5.62 feet, thence So 84043' W. 107.64 feet, thence N. 00*19' E. 9.90 feet, thence N. 12°00' W. 138.00 feet, thence N. 30050' W. 144.47 feet, thence N. 82°25' E. 314.72 feet, thence S. 89*41' E. 289.22 feet, thence S. 00*32' E. 165.01 feet, to the point of beginning, containing 3.3272 acres, more or less; be taken from "A" Residence District and put into "B" Residence District. Section 2. The City Engineer shall forthwith amend the original zoning district map in compliance with the amendments and changes herein established. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and Iordered published this '27th day of October, A.
