HomeMy WebLinkAbout032 - 12/08/1960 - REZONING A PORTION OF LAND IN THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 24, TOWNSHIP 7 NORTH, RANGE 69 WEST O ORDINANCE NO. 32 1960 AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 102 1929, AS AMENDED, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, CHANGING A PORTION OF LAND IN THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 24, TOWNSHIP 7 NORTH, RANGE 69 WEST OF THE 6TH P. M. TO "B11 RESIDENCE DISTRICT, and ANOTHER PORTION OF SAID LAND IN THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 24 BE CHANGED TO "C" RESIDENCE DISTRICT BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS: That Ordinance No. 10 of the Series of 1929, as amended, being an emergency ordinance to regulate and restrict the locations of buildings and structures and the use of buildings and structures and land; the height and size of buildings and other structures; the area and dimensions of open spaces in building lots; the density of population; and for said purpose to divide the City into districts, and the zoning map adopted in connection therewith, be and the same is hereby amended by addition to Section II, entitled "Zoning District Regulations," the following, to-wit: Section 1. The zoning map heretofore adopted and declared .to be a part of this ordinance shall be changed and amended and is hereby changed and amended so that the following described property, to-wit: A tract of land situate in the NW4 of Section 24, Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the 6th P.M., City of Fort Collins, County of Larimer, State of Colorado, which, considering the North line of said Section 24 as bearing due East and West and with all bearings herein relative thereto is contained within boundary lines which begin at a point which bears S. 00007'30" W. 168 feet from the North quarter corner of said Section 24 and run thence West 200 feet, thence S. 00°07'30" West 366 feet, thence East 200 feet, to the East line of the NWT; of said Section 24, thence N. 00007130" East 366 feet along said East line to the point of beginning; which land is also described as Lots 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the Millsap Subdivision in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado be taken from "A" Residence District and put into "B" Residence District; and so that the following described property, to-wit: A tract of land situate in the NW4 of Section 24, Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the 6th P.M., City of Fort Collins, County of Larimer, State of Colorado, which, considering the North line of said Section 24 as bearing due East and West and with all bearings herein relative thereto is contained within boundary lines which begin at a point which bears S. 00007'30" West 534 feet from the North quarter corner of said Section 24, and run thence West 200 feet, thence S. 00007'30" West 96.67 feet, thence N. 89'58' East 200 feet to the East line of the Nt-14 of said Section 24, thence N. .00°07'30" East along said East line 96.57 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning; which land .is also described as Lots 7 and 8 of the Millsap Subdivision in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado; be taken from "A" Residence District and put into "C" Residence District. Section 2. The City Engineer shall forthwith amend the original zoning district map in compliance with the amendments and changes herein established. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered published this 17th day of November, A.
