ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE PLAT OF WHAT IS KNOWN AS THE
FAHRENBRUCH ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS AND TO BE INCLUDED WITHIN THE LIMITS AND JURIS-
DICTION THEREOF PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY CONTAINED IN
ARTICLE 11 CHAPTER 139 COLORADO REVISED STATUTES, 1953
WHEREAS heretofore a written petition was presented to the Council
of t'ie City of Fort Collins in substantial compliance with the provisions of
Article 11 Chapter 139 Colorado Revised Statutes 1953 by the owners of
more than fifty per cent (507) of the area and who comprise the majority of
landowners residing in the area of land embraced in what is known as the
Fahrenbruch Annexation to the City of Fort Collins wherein and
whereby said petitioners petitioned the City of Fort Collins for annexation
of all the territory embraced in what is known as the Fahrenbruch
Annexation to the City of Fort Collins Colorado comprising the lands shown
in the plat thereof attached to said petition and more particularly described
as rereinafter set forth and
WHEREAS said petition was accepted by the Council of the City of
Fort Collins by resolution passed and adopted on December 16 1965 and
WHEREAS notice for hearing on the 27' day of January, 1966, on �
an ordinance approving the annexation of said territory and including the same I
within the limits and jurisdiction of the City of Fort Collins was duly
published as provided by law and
14UREAS the Council of the City of Fort Collins has found that the
petition and the documents thereto attached meet the requirements of Article
11 Chapter 139 Colorado Revised Statutes, 1953 and
WHEREAS no proceedings for an election to determine the question j

of annexation have been initiated by written counter-petition as provided by
law and no objection to annexation having been made
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That after due consideration of the petition for
annexation the petition for the annexation of all the territory in what is
known and described as the Fahrenbruch Annexation to the City of Fort

Collins, Colorado, as shown by the plat thereof annexed to said petition and
which is more particularly described as follows, to-wit
A tract of land situate in the NW} of Section 25, Township
7 North, Range 69 West of the Sixth P M County of Larimer
State of Colorado, which considering the North line of said
NWk as bearing N 189*45 E and with all bearings contained
herein relative thereto is contained within the boundary
lines which begin at the Northwest corner of the NE} of said
NW}, said point bearing N 89 45 E 1320 10 feet from the
Northwest corner of said NWk, and run thence N 89 45 E
834 00 feet thence S 00 08 25 E 1318 65 feet to a point
on the South line of the NEk of said NW}, thence S 89*46 04
W 834 00 feet along said South line to the Southwest corner
of the NEk of said NA thence N 00*08 25 W 1318 39 feet
to the point of beginning
be accepted and approved and that said territory be annexed and made a part of
the City of Fort Collins and be included within the limits and jurisdiction of
the City of Fort Collins within the following zoning districts that part of
the above described property more particularly described as follows
A tract of land situate in the NW} of Section 25, Township
7 North, Range 69 West of the Sixth P M , County of Larimer,
State of Colorado, which considering the North line of said
NA as bearing N 89*45 E and with all bearings contained
herein relative thereto is contained within the boundary lines
which begin at a point which bears N 89*45 E 834 00 feet
and again S 00*08 25 E 310 00 feet from the Northwest
corner of the NE} of said NW} and run thence S 00 08 25 E
450 00 feet thence S 89 45 W 500 00 feet, thence N 15°
59'40 E 197 90 feet, thence N 00 08 25 W 450 00 feet
thence N 89*45 E 220 00 feet, thence S 00*08 25 E 190 00
feet thence N 89 45' E 225 00 feet to the point of beginning
be accepted and approved and that said territory be annexed and made a part of
the City of Fort Collins and be included within the limits and jurisdiction of
the City of Fort Collins as a R-H High Density Residential District, and that
the remainder of said property be accepted and approved and that said territory
be annexed and made a part of the City of Fort Collins and be included within
the limits and jurisdiction of the City of Fort Collins as a R-P Planned
Residential District, and that the City Clerk be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to prepare certified copies of this ordinance, to each of which
shall be attached a plat of said Fahrenbruch Annexation to the City of Fort
Collins, Colorado, and shall file a copy thereof in the office of the Clerk
and Recorder of the County of Larimer, and another copy thereof in the office

of the Clerk of the City of Fort Collins, together with a certified copy of said
petition, and another copy of said petition and approving ordinance with the
Secretary of State of the State of Colorado
Section 2 That in accepting and approving the plat of the Fahrenbruch
Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, the City of Fort Collins does not assume
obligations respecting the construction of water mains, sewer lines, gas mains,
electric light lines or other services or utilities with respect to service of
said addition except as may be required and)provided by the owners of the
property within the limits of said addition in compliance with the terms and
provisions of Chapter 15, Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins,
Colorado, 1958, as amended, relating to local and public improvements
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered
published this 271 day of January, A D 1966, and to be presented for final
passage on the 170° day of February, A D 1966
