ORDINANCE NO 18 1957
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 21 1956 RELATING TO THE USE
OF THE MUNICIPAL SANITARY SEWER SERVICE FIXING THE
SCHEDULE OF CHARGES THEREFOR AND PROVIDING FOR RATES,
CHARGES RULES AND REGULATIONS THEREFOR AND DECLAR
ING AN EMERGENCY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That Section 2 of Ordinance Igo 21, 1956 be and the
same is hereby amended by deleting the following words and figures to-
wit said trunk line assessment shall be a sum equal to one-half ('k)
cent for each square foot of the lot area for which service is required
substituting the following words and figures to-wit said trunk line
assessment shall be a sum equal to one (1) cent for each square foot of
the lot area for which service is required
Section 2 In the opinion of the City Council the increase in
assessment provided in Section 1 hereof is necessary for the actual pre-
servation of the public peace health safety or property and it is there-
for declared that an emergency exists and that this ordinance shall take
effect upon its passage under and by virtue of the authority contained
in Sections 6 and 7 of Article II of the City Charter
Introduced read at length and adopted by the unanimous vote of
all the members of the City Council at a regular meeting held this 13th
day of June A D 1957
