ORDINANCE NO 16 1953
BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 8, 1927, AS AMENDED,
RELATING TO THE USE OF WATER FROM THE CITY WATER WORKS AND REGULATING THE
USE THEREOF, AND FIXING THE SCHEDULE OF CHARGES THEREFOR, AND REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES OR PAPTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING
PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THE PROVISIONS HEREOF
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That Section 11A of Ordinance No 8, 1927, as amended
by Ordinance No 10, 1953 be amended in the following particulars, to—vet
By deleting the following words and figures, to—wit "Service,
lots of 12000 square feet or less 66 00, additional lot area for the same
tap per each 200 feet 8 cents 11 Substituting therefor the following words
and figures, to—wit "Service lots of 50 feet or less $6 00, additional
frontage for the same tap per foot 8 cents 11
Section 2 In the opinion of the City Council an emergency exists
for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety, and this
ordinance shall take effect upon its passage under and by virtue of the
authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter
Introduced, read at length, and adopted by the unanimous vote
of all members of the City Council, at a regular meeting held this 18th day
of September, A D 1953

I, MILES F HOUSE, City Clerk of the City of Fort Collins, do
hereby certify and declare that the aforesaid Ordinance, consisting of
two sections, was duly proposed and read at length at a regular meeting
of the City Council, held on the 18th day of September, A D 1953, and
was duly adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins Coloradoan, a
daily newspaper and official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins, by the
unanimous vote of all members of the City Council, as an Emergency Ordinance,
in accordance with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the
o v.
City Charter, and thereafter and on, to wit the 22nd day of Se .ember,
A D 1953, said Ordinance No 16 was duly published in the Fort
Collins Coloradoan, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Collins,
Colorado
