HomeMy WebLinkAbout020 - 05/26/1955 - VACATING A PORTION OF ALLEY LYING BETWEEN LOT 2 ON THE NORTH AND LOTS 3, 4, AND 5 ON THE SOUTH OF BL O�INARCE NO. 20 1955 VACATING A PORTIM OF ALLEY G ESTt LOT 2 CA THE NORTH AND LO'Rts, 4,, and 5 ON THE SCJTB OF ffiXX 1, EMOOD HEIMM ADDITION TO THE 0177 OF FORT 0MIMS, AIIWMAS, the owners of Lots 2, 3, 4, and 5, of Block 10 8ewrood Heights Addition to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, have petitioned the Council of the City of Fort Collins to cause the vacation of the follow described alley described as followe, to-writs Commencing at the Southeast corner of Lot 2, Block 1, Senwood Heights Addition to the City of Port Collins, Colorado; thence westerly along the South lot line of Lot 2 to the Southwest corner of said Lot 2; thence South parallel with Wapm Stvoat to the North line of Lot 5 of said Block 1; thence Best along the North lot line of Lots 5, 4, and 3 of said Block 1 to the Northeast corner of said Lot 31 thence North to point of beginning; AND, WMASO said alleyway sought to be vacated has never been ussd as an alleyway and is not now and never has been a travelled portion of any alley or street; AND, MERSAJ, the Council of the City of' Fort Collins is of the opinion that it w6uld bb to the beat interests of the City of Fort Collins to vacate the alleyway as above deseribed; HE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COiLLINSt Section 1. That the alleyway between Lot B on the North and Lots 3, 4, and 5 on the South, Block 1, Renwood Heights Addition to the City of Port Collin, more particularly described as folloors, to-wits Commencing at the Southeast corner of Lon 2# Block 1, Henwocd Heights Addition to the City of Fort Collin, Colorado; thence westerly along the south lot line of Lot 2 to the Southwest corner of said Lot 2; thence South parallel with Wayne Street to the North line of Lot 5 of said Me* l; thence East along the North lot line of Lots 59 4, and 3 of said Block I to the Northeast corner of said Lot 3; thence North to point of beSirmingi be and the same is hereby vacated, abolished and abandoned, pursuant to the ordinances of the City of Fort Collins and the statutes of the State of Colorado, in such casee made and provided, and particularly in the provisions of Chapter 120 of the 1953 Colorado Revised Statutes.
