HomeMy WebLinkAbout007 - 05/12/1955 - AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 010, 1929, AS AMENDED, (ZONING ORDINANCE) AND CHANGING THE EAST HALF OF BLOCK t ORDINANCE NO. 7 1955 AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 10, 19293 AS AMENDED, BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO REGULATE AND RESTRICT THE LOCATION OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES AND TO DIVIDE THE CITY-INTO CERTAIN DISTRICTS COMMONLY RNOWN-AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, AND CHANGING THE EAST HALF (E2) OF BLOCKS 1033 104, 105 and 106, AND THE WEST HaLF (W2) of Blocks 115 and 116 TO "D" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT _ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS That Ordinance No. 10 of the Series of 1929, as amended, being an emergency ordinance to regulate and restrict the locations of buildings and structures and the use of buildings and structures and land, the height and size of buildings and other structures, the area and dimensions of open space in building lots, the density of population, and for said purpose to divide the City into districts, and the zoning map adopted in connection therewith, be and the same is hereby amended by adding to Section II, entitled "Zoning District Regulations," the following, to—wit- Section 1. The zoning district map heretofore adopted and declared to be a part of this Ordinance shall be changed and amended and is hereby changed and amended so that the East half (EZ) of Blocks 103, 104, 105 and 106, and the West Half (Try) of Blocks 115 and 116 shall be taken from "C" residence district and put into and made a part of "D" commercial district. Section 2 That the City Engineer shall forthwith amend the original zoning district map in compliance with the amendments and changes herein established Section 3 411 ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
