BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 21-45 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO,
1958, RELATING TO CONNECTING TO CITY SEWER LINES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1. That Section 21-45 of the .Code of Ordinances of the
City of Fort Collins, Colorado, 1958, be and the same hereby is amended to
read as follows, to-wwit:
'For each new connection, inside and outside the
city limits, there shall be paid for the above mentioned
permit, a fee of $5.00 and-.a trunk line assessment and
an assessment for.sewer main construction at the office
of the Director of Finance. Said trunk line assessment
shall be a sum equal to one (1) cent for each square
foot of the lot area for which service is required,
provided, however, that the minimum trunk line assess-
ment for connection outside the city limits shall be"
and provided further that no trunk line assess-
ment shall be charged for connections where a previous
trunk line assessment has been charged for and paid.
The assessment for sewer main construction shall be 's
sum equal to one and one half (1' ) cents for 'each square
foot of the lot area for which..service is required,
provided, however, 'that such assessment shall not be
charged in the-event that the sewer main connected to
was installed at the cost of some party' othei than the
City of-Fort Collins, Each consumer obtaining a permit
shall further pay to- the Director of Finance s sum equal
to the cost of all labor -and material ..necessary for
making the tap connection. . .Each connection- shall be
made under the supervision of the Department. of
Municipal Public Utilities,"
Introduced# considered favorably on first reading and ordered published
