BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 19-11 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS,
COLORADO, 1958, RELATING TO ZONING, CONSTRUCTION
OF BOUNDARY WALLS AND FENCES, AND SIDE YARD
REGULATIONS ON CORNER LOTS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1, That Section 19v-ll of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Fort Collins, Colorado, 1958, be amended and changed by deleting therefrom
the last sentence in paragraph seven of said section and by substituting there-
fore the following words and figures:
"Boundary walls and fences may be erected in a side
yard or rear yard to a height not exceeding six (6)
feet. No fence shall be erected within fifteen (15)
feet of the side lot line adjacent to the street."
Section 2. . That Section 19-41 of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Fort Collins, Colorado, 1958,.be amended and changed by deleting therefrom
paragraph 11 of said section and substituting therefore the following words
and figures, to�wit:
"ll. On corner lots the side yard regulations
established for "A", "B," and "C" Residence zones
shall not apply to,,-the�side.�yardradjacent"to the-
street
and on corner, fots;thA 'sfiall be a side yard
along the street side';,of,4t1ie corner lot of a width
of not less than fifty (50) per cent of the depth
of the front yard required ,for such lot and no
accessory buf7ding or'fence or boundary wall on such
corner lot shall project nearer -the street than the
length of such side yard requirements."
Introduced, considered favorably on first- reading and ordered published
this 3rd day of May, A. D. 1962, to be presented for final passage on the 24th
day of May, A. D. 1962.
