OF THB STREET AT THE INTERSECTION OF LEMAY AVENUE AIM
PROSPECT STREET
WOREAS, a portion of the southwest quarter (SWt) of Section
Eighteen (18). Township Seven (7) Norths range Sixty-eight (68) Vast of
the Sixth P M , which is a portion of the roadway at the intersection of
Lemay Avenue and Prospect Street in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado,
was conveyed to the Board of County Commissioners of Larimer County by
quit claim deed dated June 26s 1952, and recorded July 7, 19529 in Book
933 at page 367 of the Larimer County recarda, and
WHEREAS. the owners of the abutting property have requested the
Council of the City of Fort Collins to cause the save to be vacated, and
WHEREAS, said property now lies within the city limits of the
City of Fort Collins, Colorado, and
vmRUSO the need for said parcel to be a part of the streets
at the intersection of Lemay Avenue and Prospect Street no longer exists,
and
WHEREAS, said parcel is not in the traveled portion of said
streets and is not needed for roadway purposes and is not waded for any
public purpose, and
WHEREAS, it further appears that the rights of the residents of
the City of Fort Collins will in no way be prejudiced or injured by the
vacation of said parcel for roadway purposes
NOW, TUREFORB, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WORT COLLINS
Section 1 That the sasaaent of the City of Fort Collins,
Colorado, for roadway purposes over and across the following described lands,
situate in the City of Fort Collins, County of Larimers State of Colorado.
to-wit
Begin at a point 91 0 feet Borth and 40 0 fact East from
the Southwest corner of Section 189 Township 7 Norths
Range 68 West of the 6th P M ; thence South 50006s30" B
79 3 feat; thence South $90461 W 40 8 feet, thence on a
20 0 foot radius curve to the right, the long chord which
bears North 45030` W 28 0 foot; thence North 31 0 foot
to the point of beginning;
be and the acme is hereby vacateds abolished and abated
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered
published this 23rd day of Jeauery, A D , 1964, and to be presented for
final passage on the 20th day of February, A D , 1964
