HomeMy WebLinkAbout033 - 09/24/1964 - REZONING A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE SW 1/4 OF SECTION 18, TOWNSHIP 7 NORTH, RANGE 68 WEST OF THE ORDINANCE NO 33 , 1964 AMENDING CHAPTER 19, CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO, 1958, AS AMENDED, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, CHANGING A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE SWk OF SECTION 18, TOWNSHIP 7 NORTH, RANGE 68 WEST OF THE 6TH P M FROM "A" RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO "D" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS That Chapter 19, Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, 1958, as amended, being an ordinance to regulate and restrict the locations of buildings and structures and use of buildings and structures and land, the height and size of buildings and other structures, the area and dimensions of open spaces in building lots, the density of population, and for said purposes to divide the City into districts, and the zoning map adopted in connection therewith, be and the same is hereby amended by addition to Section 19-2 entitled "Zoning District Regulations," of the following, to-wit t. Section 1 The zoning map heretofore adopted and declared to be a part of t49 ordinance shall be changed and amended and is hereby changed and amended so that the following described property, situate in the County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to-wit A tract of land, located in the Southwest Quarter (SW%) of Section 18, Township 7 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P M , in Larimer County, Colorado, being more particularly described as follows Commencing at the Southwest Corner (SW cor ) of said Section 18 and considering the West line of said Southwest Quarter ($A) as bearing North 00000100" East, thence North 00'00'00" East 160 00 feet, thence North 89042145" East parallel to the South line of said SW% 40 00 feet to the Easterly right-of-way line of Lemay Street, said point being the True Point of Beginning, thence continuing North 89042'45" East 120 00 feet, thence South 00'00100" West 120 00 feet to the Northerly right-of-way line of Prospect Street, thence South 89'42'45" West along said right-of-way line 99 90 feet, thence along the arc of a 20 foot Radius curve to the right, the long chord of which bears North 45'08'40" West 28 36 feet, thence North 00*00100" East 99 90 feet along the Easterly right-of-way line of Lemay Street to the True Point of Beginning, be changed from "A" Residence District to "D" Commercial District Section 2 The City Engineer shall forthwith amend the original zoning district map in compliance with the amendments and changes herein established Section 3 All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered published this 3rd day of September, A D 1964, and to be presented for final passage on the 24th day of September, A D 1964 yr ATTEST CV City C rk Passed and adopted on final reading this 24th day of September, A D 1964 ATTEST City C1 k -2-
