BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 39 OF ORDINANCE NO
179 1965, RELATING TO THE SEWER UTILITY AND CHARGES FOR
THE USE THEREOF
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That Section 39 of Ordinance No 17, 1965, be and it
hereby is amended and changed by deleting all of the words and figures under
the heading "City - Metered Water Users (per month)" and by susbstituting
therefor the following
The charge for sewer service for each month shall be 65%
of the current monthly bill for water service, but not
less than $2.50 per month per living unit served ,
and by deleting all of the words and figures under the heading `Outside City -
Metered Water Users" and by substituting therefor the following
The charge per month for sewer service for one living unit
shall be 95% of the average monthly bill for water service
during the preceding months of January, February, and
March, but not less than $14 00 per quarter The sewer
service charge for sewer service to other than one living
unit shall be negotiated by the City Manager and approved
by the City Council ,
and by adding the following
Not Served By City Water - Inside and Outside City
The sewer service charge for sewer service to customers
not being served by City water shall be negotiated by
the City Manager and approved by the City Council
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered
published this 2nd day of September, A D 1965, and to be presented for final
passage on the 23rd day of September, A D 1965
