BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 33
OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
RELATING TO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That Section 33-14 B of the Code of the City
of Fort Collins be and the same hereby is amended to read as
follows
"§33-14 B All licenses granted hereunder shall be
granted subject to the terms and conditions of this
Article the provisions of applicable state law and
any terms and conditions imposed by resolution of
the Liquor Licensing Authority All licenses granted
shall be subject to the applicant obtaining a license
from the State of Colorado A license holder shall
sell fermented malt beverages only at the location
set forth in the license and only within the area
encompassed by the application unless approval for
transfer of the location is first received from the
Liquor Licensing Authority
Section 2 That Section 33-15 A of the Code of the City
of Fort Collins be and the same hereby is amended to read as
follows
"§33-15 A Each applicant for a license hereunder
shall comply with the requirements of the city adopted
by resolution of the Liquor Licensing Authority No
application for a license shall be received or acted
upon where within twelve (12) months next preceding
the date of the application the Liquor Licensing
Authority has denied an application at the same
location for the reason that the reasonable require-
ments of the neighborhood were satisfied by the
existing outlets
Section 3 That a new section to-wit Section 33-15 C
be added to the Code of the City of Fort Collins as follows
"§33-15 C All licenses granted pursuant to the
provisions of this article shall be valid for a
period of one (1) year from the date of the issuance
of such license unless revoked or suspended pursuant
to the Code of the City of Fort Collins the rules
of procedure of the Liquor Licensing Authority of
the City of Fort Collins or Colorado statutes '
