BEING AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the property hereinafter described has for more than three (3) years been
entirely contained within the boundaries of the City of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins desires to. annex said property.
NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1 . That all of the territory more particularly described as situate in the
County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to-wit:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Section 23, Township 7 North, Range 69
West of the 6th P. M. , which is the point of beginning of the {Vest Prospect
Consolidated Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado; thence S. .
89054 !3011 E. along said Annexation, 228.00 feet, more or less; thence S.
0000714511 E. along said Annexation, 214 .78 feet, more or less; thence N.
89059130/1 E. along said Annexation, 435.75 feet, more or less; thence S.
00000130/1 E. along said Annexation, 56.58 feet, more or less; thence N.
89059130/1 E. along said Annexation, 340.10 feet, more or less; thence S.
01024130/1 E. along said Annexation, 390.86 feet, more or less, to a .point
on the Birky First Annexation to the City of Fort Collins thence S. 880
35130" W. along said Annexation, 30.04 feet; thence S. 08 03130" E. along
said Annexation, 1360.00 feet; thence. S. 87012130/1 E . along said. Annexation,
1090.00 feet; thence N. 86053/06/1 E. along said Annexation, 405 .69 feet,
more or less, to a point on the Fourth College Annexation to the City of
Fort Collins; thence S. 00020135/1 E. along said Annexation, 606.61 feet,
more or less, to the Southeast corner of the NW; of said Section 23; thence
N. 89058145/1 W. along the South line of said NW;-and-said Annexation, 2656.95
feet to the Southwest corner of the NW; of said Section 23; thence N.
00019100/1 11. along the {Vest line of said Section 23 and said Annexation,
2645.90 feet to the point of beginning.
be and it hereby is annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of said City, to
be known as the Third Spring Creek Annexation. .
Section 2. That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort Collins, the City of
Fort Collins does not assume any obligation respecting the construction of water mains,
sewer lines, gas mains, electric service lines,- streets or any other services or utilities
. in connection with territory hereby annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances of
the City of Fort Collins.
Section 3. Within ninety (90) days from the date this ordinance becomes effective, no
building permit shall be issued for any of the lands herein described unless said lands
have been zoned under the zoning ordinances of the City.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 23rd day
of October A. D. 1969, and to be presented for final- p ssage on thel3th day of
November A. D. 1969.
