ORDINANCE NO 68 , 1965
BEING AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THAT ALL APPLICANTS
FOR JOBS WITH THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS BE FINGER-
PRINTED

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNSEL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That from and after the effective date of this
ordinance any person who applies for a job with the City of Fort Collins
shall be fingerprinted by the police department of the City of Fort Collins.
Section 2 The Police Department shall submit all fingerprints
taken pursuant to this ordinance to the Federal Bureau of Investigation and
shall request a report on the individual whose fingerprints are submitted
and shall report to the City Manager the information regarding the applicant
received from the Federal Bureau of Investigation
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered
published this 23rd day of December, A.D 1965, and to be presented for final
passage on the 13th day of January, A D 1966.
