ORDINANCE NO 36, 1968
BEING AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF REMINGTON STREET AND CERTAIN EASEMENTS ADJACENT
THERETO IN THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the City Council has been petitioned to vacate a portion of Remington Street
and certain easements adjacent thereto in the City of Fort Collins and
WHEREAS, said street is not needed for municipal purposes and is used only by the
person requesting that the street be vacated, and said easements are also not needed for
municipal purposes and
WHEREAS, it appears that the rights of the residents of the City of Fort Collins will
in no way be prejudiced or injured by the vacation of said street and easements, provided
that there is reserved an easement for utilities as now constructed in said street
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that the
following portion of Remington Street in the City of Fort Collins, to-wit
Remington Street situate in the Replat of Block 2 and Lots 1 to 7 , inclusive,
of Block 1 of the St Vrain Subdivision, Fort Collins, Colorado, which is more
particularly described as follows Begin at the Southeast corner of Tract One
of the said Replat and run thence S 71 03' E 63 38 feet, thence N 00 07' E
424 68 feet thence along the arc of a 15 00 foot radius curve to the right a
distance of 23 51 feet, the long chord of which bears N 45 01'30 E 21 18
feet thence S 89 56' W 90 00 feet thence along the arc of a 15 00 foot
radius curve to the right a distance of 23 61 feet, the long chord of which
bears S 44°58'30 E 21 65 feet thence S 00 07' W 403 95 feet to the point
of beginning
and the following utility easements, to-wit
Two 3 25 foot by 10 00 foot utility easements situate in Tract Two of the Replat
of Block 2 and Lots 1 to 7 inclusive, of Block 1 of the St Vrain Subdivision,
Fort Collins, Colorado, and being adjacent to the East line of Remington Street
be and the same hereby are abolished, vacated and abated , except that there is reserved
unto the City of Fort Collins an easement for utilities over and across the following
described portion of said vacated street, to-wit
An easement for utilities situate in the Replat of Block 2 and Lots 1 to 7,
inclusive, of Block 1 of the St Vrain Subdivision, Fort Collins, Colorado,
which begins at the Southeast corner of Tract One of the said Replat and run
thence N 00 07' E 419 00 feet then ce N 89 56' E 35 00 feet thence S
00 07 W 345 00 feet thence S 89 56 W 15 00 feet thence S 00 07' W
80 89 feet thence N 71 03' W 21 13 feet to the point of beginning
