BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED SIM FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS
FROM THE SEWER CAPITAL IlMOVEME T FUND FOR EXPENDITURES DURING THE YEAR 1968 AND
DECLARING AN IMMENCY
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City of Fort Collins contract during the year 1968,
for the improvement of the sanitary sewer utility of the City of Fort Collins, and
MRfWAS, sufficient monies for such improvements were not appropriated or budgeted
for the year 1968, but there is an hand in the sewer capital improvement fund a sufficient
amount to pay for such improvements, and
WBEREAG, the actual necessity for such improvements was not foreseen and arose after
the passage of the annual appropriation ordinance
NOW, TME'FORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That there is hereby appropriated from the sewer capital improvement
fund the sum of $165,000 00 for expenditure on capital improvements to the sewer utility
during the year 1968
Section 2 In the opinion of the City Council an emergency exists for the actual
preservation of the public peace and health, safety and property and this ordinance shall
take effect upon its passage under and by virtue of the authority contained in Sections
six and seven of Article II of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unanimous vote of the four members of
the City Council of the City of Fort Collins present at a regular meeting held this
22nd day of August, A.D , 1968
