BEING AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins desires to annex the property more particularly
described below and
WHEREAS, a resolution setting forth the intent of the City Council to annex said area
has heretofore been adopted and
WHEREAS, after notice and hearing as provided for in Sections 139-21-7 and 139-21-8,
Colorado Revised Statutes 1963 as amended the City Council has entered its findings and
determinations that the proposed annexation complies with the provisions of Section 139-
21-4, Colorado Revised Statutes 1963, as amended
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That all of the territory more particularly described as situate in the
County of Larimer State of Colorado, to-wit
Commencing at the Southeast Corner of the Southwest Quarter of Section 9, Township
7 North Range 69 West of the 6th P M which point is on the North line of the
West Mulberry First Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado and con-
sidering the South line of the SW'k of said Section 9 as bearing N 89 35 30 W
and with all bearings herein relative thereto, thence N 89*35 30 W 476 54 feet
to the true point of beginning thence S 00*25' E along the boundary of the
West Mulberry First Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado 512 49 feet
thence N 89°35'30 W along said Annexation 330 00 feet thence S 00*25 E along
said Annexation 147 51 feet thence N 89*35 30 W along said Annexation 330 00
feet thence N 00 25 W along said Annexation 660 00 feet to the South line of
the SWk of said Section 9 thence S 89°35'30 E along the South line of the said
SA 660 00 feet to the true point of beginning
be and it hereby is annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of said City to
be known as the West Mulberry Second Annexation
Section 2 That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort Collins, the City of
Fort Collins does not assume any obligation respecting the construction of water mains,
sewer lines gas mains, electric service lines, streets or any other services or utilities
in connection with territory hereby annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances of
the City of Fort Collins
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 3rd day
of October, A D 1968, and to be presented for final passage on the 24t" day of October,
